About the Shredder 2.2" Tires
Directional Grip & Track Tuning
The Shredder's directional tread lets you change the mounting orientation to adjust the balance between forward bite and side bite. This gives you a way to tailor how the front end responds to steering inputs and how the buggy carries traction through corners, depending on carpet conditions and the handling feel you're after. As grip levels change, adjusting the tire's direction can help you refine its response and maintain predictable control through acceleration and cornering. Developed for competitive carpet racing, these tires offer a practical tuning option for racers working to find a balanced, consistent setup.
