Based on the competition-proven Team Losi Racing TLR 22 geometry that also powers the 22S Sprint, it shares the same race-engineered suspension and drivetrain components that experienced racers demand.

  An aluminum chassis, steel turnbuckles, and all-metal transmission provide the durability to survive wheel-to-wheel battles on dirt oval tracks. The sealed gear differential comes pre-filled with diff fluid for optimal performance. A customizable battery tray expands your options with adjustable stops for full-length or shorty packs. The installed Spektrum 2S brushless system powers the 22S DLM around the oval, hitting 25+ mph down the straightaways.

  Authentic scale details bring late model realism to life. It features an accurately designed body with the correct skew and twist found on full-scale late models for maximum downforce, a hand-painted driver figure and race seat, scale details including a realistic dash panel, steering wheel, air cleaner, fuel door, and much more. The officially licensed Hoosier tires in a soft compound are ideal for most tracks, with medium compound versions available separately for high-traction, high-wear surfaces.

  The 22S Dirt Late Model excels on purpose-built RC Dirt oval tracks that are either dirt or clay, banked or flat, small or large. But it's equally thrilling on simple ovals marked with cones in driveways, parking lots, or even basketball courts. Its versatility makes dirt oval racing accessible anywhere.

  Performing maintenance, or even replacing the battery pack, on RC vehicles with detailed bodies and roll cages can be challenging. The 22S DLM solves this with an innovative clipless mounting system. Press the button on the molded air cleaner, then pull up and slide forward, and the entire body and cage assembly lifts off the chassis. Maintenance, repairs, and upgrades have never been easier.

  For racers looking to gain a competitive edge, the 22S Dirt Late Model accepts existing Losi and TLR option parts. Since it shares suspension and transmission components with the 22S Sprint, many hobby shops will support both racing classes with shared parts inventory. Recharging is fast and easy with the supplied S160 USB-C Smart Charger - just plug the battery in, and the charger does the rest. When paired with the optional SPMX-1027 65W power supply (sold separately), the S160 fully charges the battery in just 35 minutes!

Losi includes a Spektrum Smart 2S LiPo battery and upgraded S160 USB-C Smart Charger for faster, hassle-free charging - just plug in the battery and the charger does the rest. When paired with the SPMX-1027 65W power supply (sold separately), the S160 charges the battery in only 35 minutes. On a full charge, you'll enjoy 15 minutes of uninterrupted racing.

  POWERFUL BRUSHLESS POWER SYSTEM

  The 22S Dirt Late Model is equipped with a Spektrum 2S brushless system. It features the Firma 45A Smart Lite ESC and the Firma 3650 3300Kv brushless motor-a combination that delivers the power to reach speeds of 25+ mph.

  

  SPEKTRUM SLT2 TRANSMITTER

  In addition to providing interference-free control, the included Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz transmitter offers steering trim, steering rate, steering reversing, and other useful features. Novice drivers can use the throttle limiting switch to set the top speed to 50% or 75% of the vehicle's full potential, ideal for gradually and safely developing control skills.

  

  SPEKTRUM S684 SERVO

  The 22S Dirt Late Model includes a Spektrum S684 high-speed metal-gear servo with a 25T adjustable servo saver for durable, powerful steering. Its waterproof design lets you race with confidence in any conditions. We also include an optional solid servo horn for expert drivers who want the most precision from their DLM.

  

  SPEKTRUM SR215 DSMR 2-CHANNEL SPORT RECEIVER

  The factory-installed, telemetry-equipped Spektrum SR215 is a dual-protocol DSMR receiver that also connects to advanced racing radios such as the DX5 and iXSR. Its lightning-fast 5.5ms frame rate delivers a quick, low-latency connection for pro-level enthusiasts. The streamlined case offers added antenna support and an integrated antenna tube slot for easy installation. The battery port can also power a lap-counting transponder.

  

  CLIPLESS BODY MOUNTING

  RC vehicles with detailed bodies and roll cages often are difficult to work on - sometimes the cage must be removed to access the chassis for repairs, maintenance, or upgrades. On the Losi 22S Dirt Late Model, you simply press the button on the molded air cleaner, pull up and slide forward, and the entire body and cage assembly lifts right off the chassis. It makes chassis access fast and easy!

  

  ALL-METAL TRANSMISSION

  The Losi 22S Dirt Late Model's all-metal transmission features an adjustable dual-slipper clutch and a sealed gear differential, pre-filled with diff fluid for optimal performance.

  

  CLOSED-WHEEL DESIGN FOR AGGRESSIVE RACING

  The closed-wheel, late-model body design enables aggressive side-by-side racing that sprint cars can't match. Without open wheels, which can catch and lead to big tumbles, the closed-wheel 22S Dirt Late Model enables more door-to-door racing, more aggressive passing, and tighter racing overall. In addition, the lower center of gravity compared to winged sprint cars gives the 22S Dirt Late Model a faster-feeling, more forgiving driving experience, making it ideal for tight, technical oval tracks.

  The officially licensed, 2.2" based Hoosier Soft compound tires provide ideal performance for most tracks. They're mounted to all-new, scale-correct, wide 5 wheels with an integrated hub design and color-matched wheel covers on the right side. Together, the 22S Dirt Late Model wheels and Hoosier tires enhance the scale realism. A Medium compound tire is available separately for racing on high-traction, high-wear surfaces.
