Vintage Oval Racing Here at 997 RC Raceway

We here at 997 RC Raceway have updated our class lists and rules for the 2024/2025 season. One of the highlighted oval classes for this season is our Vintage Pan Car/RJ Speed 5.0 Breakout class. This class is the perfect example of a fun and inexpensive class to get into. This class will consist of any vintage (typically pre-1999) pan cars or any RJ Speed pan car or legends car. The goal in this class is to run as close to a 5 second lap without exceeding anything lower than a 5 second lap, if the racer completes a lap in less than 5 seconds this lap will not count anf the driver will break out. This premise creates a class that anyone can be competitive in and makes for great racing! 

Do you have an older Team Associated RC10L collecting dust? Or maybe a TRC Lynx 2 Elite (pictured)? Or perhaps an old Trinity EV10? Be sure to dust off these older models, put some new tires on and bring them to the track and let's have some fun!!
